SALES DIRECTOR JOB SUMMARY -

The Sales Director partners with the Executive or Community Director to develop positive relationships within the local community and surrounding areas and to increase occupancy through both inside and outside sales. This position will help educate the community on our services and amenities, host community events, be comfortable speaking and interacting with professional referral sources, conduct weekly external marketing sales visits, and work closely with potential residents and their families. The Sales Director promotes our core values of Dignity, Collaboration, Compassion and Transparency. This role will ensure all marketing, admissions and day-to-day operations are properly followed while maintaining company occupancy goals.

The Sales Director will effectively manage their time to achieve daily and weekly goals as they pertain to calling leads in our database, giving tours to potential residents and families, manage scheduling next steps for excellent follow through, and strive to be a leader to enrich the lives of those we serve. SALES DIRECTOR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES -

• Overall responsibility for the marketing and leasing of all apartments within the Community
• Sales Director will complete external marketing – visiting referral sources, local businesses, community programs, hospital and skilled nursing facility discharge planners, and develop a strong working relationship
• Respond and follow-up to all inquiries in a timely manner
• Follow up with all prospects or their families
• Sales Director will coordinate all tours for prospective residents – either completing personally or by proper training/delegation of tour process to others
• Meet evenings and weekends to accommodate prospects and family schedules
• Compile all pre-admission paperwork and complete all new admission paperwork at time of move in
• Coordinate with Director team with a schedule for all move-ins
• Sales Director will become informed of the competition, their building lay-outs, programs, amenities, promotions and pricing structure
• Oversee, plan, coordinate and execute marketing events along with the Culinary Director and Activity Director for both internal community events and those including prospective residents and outside community members
• Participate in all company-wide marketing initiatives and calls
• Utilize company marketing software and sales processes, systems, and forms for external and internal sales to perform job duties, track information, and achieve desired community occupancy goals
• Sales Director will keep organized and detailed records on all the marketing activities in our tracking system
• Implement and assist in orientation of new residents to the Community
• Provide a high level of support and leadership to all on-site staff – establish positive relationships in order to lead by example and work alongside staff
• Work alongside the team of Department Directors to ensure smooth operations of the Community
• Be familiar with job descriptions and duties of Department Directors and perform those tasks as needed
• Maintain positive image of physical building, visual presentation – coordinating with Director team and maintenance staff
